Yago y Los Olvidados turn a breakup into survival on ‘Boca a Boca’
The Zaragoza band return with ‘Boca a Boca’, a new preview of their forthcoming album that turns the aftermath of a breakup into a rock survival song.

Some breakups leave silence. Others leave you searching for air.
Yago y Los Olvidados turn that second feeling into “Boca a Boca”, the Zaragoza band’s new single and another preview of their forthcoming album.
The song uses images of water, drowning and rescue to explore the uncertainty left by a separation: life keeps moving, even when you no longer know quite how to move with it.
Musically, the band starts from the classic and Americana-rooted rock that shaped its early identity, expanding it with saturated guitars, synthesizer layers and a deliberately immediate chorus.
Formed in Zaragoza in 2018, the project is led by Yago Alonso alongside Eduardo Andrés on electric guitar, Rubén Jaques on bass and Josán Ibáñez on drums. Over time, their Spanish-language Americana roots have evolved towards stronger melodies, hooks and contemporary textures.
“Boca a Boca” pushes that evolution forward while introducing what the band describes as a particularly personal record.
This isn’t a song about a wound already healed. It’s about finding enough air to make it to the next day.
