Mar Pujol — Mitja Vida

Mar Pujol shares “Mitja Vida”, the only song she will release ahead of her second album, D’aquesta aigua no en beuré, due on October 16. The track continues an approach to songwriting built around patience, observation and finding meaning in everyday life.

Slowing down while everything speeds up

On “Mitja Vida”, the Prats de Lluçanès singer-songwriter begins with the feeling that too many things are happening at once. The song searches for something solid to hold onto when the pace of the outside world becomes overwhelming.

Voice and guitar remain at the centre. Rather than filling every space, Pujol works with silence and the natural breath of the performance, bringing the listener closer to the song.

A second album after more than 150 shows

Her debut album, Cançons de Rebost, received honours including the 2024 Premi Altaveu, the 2025 Enderrock critics’ award for best singer-songwriter album and the 2025 Premi Alícia for emerging artist. Over the last three years she has performed more than 150 shows alongside cellist Bruna González Subirà.

The new album will use contradiction and doubt as ways of looking at life from different angles. After its release, Mar Pujol already has dates confirmed across Spain and abroad.
