Blackhaine will release his debut album, Saints In The Wethouse, on 13 November 2026 via XL Recordings. The announcement arrives with “Consumer”, the first single from the record, and a video directed by Elena Isolini with Blackhaine serving as Creative Director.
The debut contains 12 tracks and marks the next stage of a body of work that has moved across music, performance, stage direction and contemporary art. Blackhaine has presented work at venues and festivals including Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Sónar, Manchester International Festival, the Venice Biennale and Club To Club.

A debut built as a complete work
Most of the album was realised in the studio by Blackhaine himself, with Wraith9 as executive producer. Around them is a close circle of North West collaborators including Rainy Miller, Croww and Space Afrika, alongside Ship Sket, Vanessa Bedoret and Gabe Evans.
Rather than presenting the record as a loose sequence of singles, the project points towards a complete work: twelve tracks, a clearly defined visual direction and a natural extension into live performance. The cover was painted by Harry Hugo Little and photographed by Archie Finch.
“Consumer” opens the way
“Consumer” is the first entry point into the album. Directed by Elena Isolini, the video keeps Blackhaine at the centre of the project’s visual construction and continues a strand of work he has also developed beyond his own releases, including stage and creative direction for other artists.
The next step is live: Saints In The Wethouse will receive its first live presentation on 4 October at Unsound Festival in Warsaw.
