DELACUEVA teams up with TERE! for «Triple Salto Mortal», the sixth preview of «No Me Llames Artista – Edición Deluxe», revisiting a song about choosing emotional risk despite knowing the danger.
A second life for an overlooked track
The final chorus moves into a major key after earlier refrains sustained a more anxious minor-key atmosphere. That choice gives the song’s dangerous love story a new emotional horizon: the risk remains, but accepting it suddenly sounds liberating. TERE!’s rising intensity echoes the harmonic move, while the circus imagery of the video translates the same dilemma into a physical scene of trust and danger.
The final chorus of «Triple Salto Mortal» changes from minor to major, lifting the emotional colour of an otherwise risky love story. TERE!’s performance follows that movement: her voice moves from quiet restraint towards an increasingly raw conclusion. The circus-themed video turns the song’s metaphor into a visual tableau of trust, danger and the decision to jump despite the possibility of falling.
The original track was one of the few album cuts not released as a single. After reworking «Y Ahora No» with Miriam Rodríguez, DELACUEVA returns to a composition whose complex structure now receives a new interpretation.
The musical turning point
Its musical turning point comes in the final chorus. The early refrains retain a darker minor-key tension; the last shifts into major, changing the emotional colour without changing the melody or lyric. That harmonic release mirrors the song’s portrait of dangerous attraction.
Video imagery and upcoming concerts
TERE!, whose debut «NO MORE MANNERS» arrived in May, moves from delicate verses to an increasingly forceful performance. The video explores circus imagery, with mime-like makeup, cabaret clothing and a knife-and-apple tableau that turns trust into a physical image.
