ANOUCK THE BAND shares «La inocencia», the final preview of debut album «Háblame de ella», due 5 November.

Growing older without losing the child you once were

«La inocencia» avoids presenting childhood as a place to which the listener can literally return. Anouck Peris Lemoine instead searches for a part of her earlier perspective that might help her live with adult responsibilities. The title track «Háblame de ella» already addresses the person she used to be, while «Au soleil» with Maren and «Margaritas» show other sides of her intimate alternative pop. The album arrives on 5 November, ahead of concerts in Madrid and Valencia.

Franco-Valencian artist Anouck Peris Lemoine reflects on childhood and the contradictions of adulthood, seeking to reconnect with a lost perspective rather than escape to an impossible past.

A wider sound for the final preview

According to the release notes, «La inocencia» reaches beyond the more intimate arrangements that define the record. That change matters because the song is not only recalling the past; it is also looking for a way to live differently in the present. Anouck is involved in both the songs and the accompanying visual identity, helping the project feel like one continuous personal story rather than a series of unrelated singles.

The two announced concerts offer a useful next test for that vision. At Madrid’s Sala UNI on 28 November and Valencia’s Radio City on 19 December, the songs will leave the carefully assembled environment of the recordings and meet an audience. The larger arrangements of «La inocencia» should provide an interesting contrast with the more delicate material.

The production moves beyond the intimate pop that shapes the rest of the record towards a more expansive arrangement. That musical growth reflects the song’s attempt to recover a missing part of the self.

What the first album promises

The strongest aspect of this final single is its relationship with the earlier previews. «Háblame de ella» addresses a younger self, «Au soleil» explores the bonds between people, and «Margaritas» opens another musical window. Together they suggest a record whose coherence comes from the artist’s perspective rather than one fixed sound. The more expansive arrangement of «La inocencia» makes that point particularly clear: looking backwards does not mean standing still. The concerts in Madrid and Valencia will also give listeners a chance to discover whether these different shades can form a unified live set.

Earlier singles include the childhood-focused title track, «Au soleil» featuring Maren, and «Margaritas», inspired partly by classic European pop. The album arrives on 5 November, followed by Madrid’s Sala UNI on 28 November and Valencia’s Radio City on 19 December.
