Sylvie, the Los Angeles project led by Ben Schwab, has released “Not Looking Back Anymore”, a new single from New Season, due November 6, 2026 via Ghostly International.
The contemplative folk-rock song explores moving forward, finding the people who belong in your life and accepting that some chapters are best left behind.
From a home studio to Abbey Road
Schwab produced the ten-track album primarily at home before completing it at Abbey Road Studios. Drawing on the warmth of 1960s and 1970s Laurel Canyon folk-rock, the record brings together collaborators including Sierra Ferrell, Courtney Marie Andrews, Alex Amen and Kacy Lee Anderson.
The album unfolds in two halves, moving from discovery and hope toward a more reflective mood. Previous single “Rina”, featuring Alex Amen, revisits a song originally written by Schwab’s father, John Schwab.
