DELACUEVA and Miriam Rodríguez turn “Y Ahora No” into a two-voice conversation

DELACUEVA is revisiting his first solo album through another voice. The Zaragoza musician releases “Y Ahora No (Miriam Rodríguez – Edición Deluxe)”, a new version of the ballad that closed No Me Llames Artista, now transformed into a dialogue with Miriam Rodríguez.
It is the fifth preview of No Me Llames Artista – Edición Deluxe, following collaborations with Grasias, Mía Berlín, Nena Daconte and Roi. This time the story remains the same, but its perspective changes: what was once a solitary account is now carried by two voices.
From a whisper to an emotional peak
“Y Ahora No” begins with restraint, acoustic guitars and a sound reminiscent of classic Britpop ballads. Distorted guitars and string arrangements gradually enter, pushing the track towards one of the album’s most intense climaxes.
That dynamic range is what led DELACUEVA to Miriam Rodríguez. Her performance begins warm and almost whispered before growing alongside the instrumentation. “It’s the most beautiful song on the album and it needed an emotional performance, which Miriam has delivered perfectly,” says DELACUEVA.
A farewell inspired by cinema
The song was born after DELACUEVA watched Mutiny on the Bounty, the Marlon Brando classic about the mutiny aboard the Bounty. Its imagery of sailors, exile, lost rank and rudderless journeys becomes a way of writing about absence without addressing it literally.
The release arrives as the No Me Llames Artista tour continues. Key upcoming dates include November 18 at Sala El Sol in Madrid and December 19 at Sala López in Zaragoza, both presenting the deluxe edition. The tour continues in 2027 with dates in Seville, Bilbao and Huesca.
