A genre-defying collaboration

Madrid trio Gilipojazz have teamed up with acclaimed American trumpeter Randy Brecker for «Gustavo Adolfo Brecker», a new single that pushes their already wide-ranging sound into fresh territory.

Bassist Ángel Cáceres, guitarist Iker García and drummer Pablo Levin blend jazz, funk, progressive rock and humour. Brecker’s trumpet adds another layer to the track’s fast-moving arrangements.

The release follows the group’s albums «¿Dónde está el Jazz?» and «Progresa Adecuadamente», as well as a live EP recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Gilipojazz will play dates in Mexico from November 4 to 7 before returning to Madrid’s Teatro Eslava on November 13.
