The early days of a relationship can feel like a night that never ends. Zara Colombo captures their mixture of longing, uncertainty and vulnerability on “La noche”, the second single from the forthcoming album Lengua Madre, due October 30, 2026.

Written by Luca Massaro and produced by Dumbo Gets Mad, the song emerged at the beginning of the relationship between Zara C. Massaro and Luca Massaro. Its dreamlike atmosphere frames a story of romance, restlessness, sleepless nights and the desire to stay close to someone.

Where music meets visual art

The title also refers to La Notte, a public sculpture by Luca Massaro installed on the roof of Milan’s Viasaterna gallery, near the Triennale. Both works approach the night as a setting for feelings that surface when the world grows quiet.

Lengua Madre arrives October 30

Lengua Madre will be the project’s first album entirely in Spanish, while the physical edition will also include an Italian-language version.

Madrid and Barcelona shows

Zara Colombo will open for Dumbo Gets Mad on November 4 at Wurlitzer Ballroom in Madrid and November 5 at Sala Upload in Barcelona.
