Caramuerto returns with “Una suerte nueva”, pushing lo-fi industrial into mutant electronics
Caramuerto returns with ‘Una suerte nueva’, a new LP co-released by Humo Internacional and Màgia Roja that expands his post-industrial language into a more ambitious electronic world.

Caramuerto steps back into focus with “Una suerte nueva”, a new LP co-released by Humo Internacional and Màgia Roja. Years of experimentation are condensed into a record that pushes post-punk, industrial music and electronics towards more complex, physical and cinematic structures.
From Berlin to Barcelona
The project first took shape in Berlin in the early 2010s through home recordings, guitar loops and saturated vocals. After moving to Barcelona, Caramuerto began adding sequencers and synthesisers without losing the tension of those early compositions.
Following a long period of work away from the spotlight, he returns with a sharper, more digital sound. The grit and friction remain, but they now sit inside a much broader approach to sound design.
Controlled chaos
Across eight tracks, “Una suerte nueva” moves between deconstructed club, bass music, post-industrial textures and post-punk. It resists easy labels: noise, fractured rhythms and constantly shifting layers coexist with a narrative thread that keeps the record together.
The album was recorded, mixed and produced by Cristian Pallejà and mastered by Norman Nitzsche. After years of quiet development, Caramuerto has turned that search into a record that clearly expands the project’s musical territory.
